Anand and Milind are the sons of the acclaimed music director Chitragupt Shrivastava of Chhapra. Milind is a pianist whereas Anand shows proficiency as a guitarist. The sons assisted their father for 8 years.

Anand - Milind were honoured with Filmfare Award in 1988 for their music in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
